A really good stay for business trip. Old-fashioned hotel with diligent and attentive staff and perfect views of the harbor. Enjoyable and excellent breakfast with variety of outstanding foods. Unbeatable location, right next to Contemporary Art Museum.

It is a hotel that thinks about the client all the time, staff, friendly, all well explained. We loved it because the swimming pool is divine and an important fact if you go with children, we went in July and temperature was perfect, atmosphere was very warm and water was warm. gym is beautiful, even with a track to walk or run. We also liked that the pool and gym/spa are open from 7 am to 10 pm. kids can be at any time, without restrictions. For those who want to swim quietly there are center lanes. It's so big that everyone is comfortable. breakfast on the 25th floor is also spectacular, complete and rich, with a beautiful view. room is very nice, on the upper floors the view is great. In the room everything is impeccable. room service is excellent, good in times and food is very rich, prices were good. It has a very nice club kids that are about 4 large rooms with Wii, costumes and games for all ages. location is nice to walk around, not to go out at night walking. Our son felt bad the last day and medical service of the hotel took care of him in an excellent way, thanks to that we could travel peacefully. We are going back because we liked the treatment, flexible schedule and all the facilities, we enjoy everything!
We liked everything. The parking lot is a block away, but it has valet parking at a reasonable price.

Large, centrally located hotel. It is a large hotel located in the center of the city, with large auditoriums as for conferences, restaurants and a casino. The attention is of the best, very warm and cordial. They solve all kinds of concerns and requests without problems. Even when requesting a late check out. The rooms are old, so they are very spacious. The furniture is comfortable, without being superior. The bed offers a good rest. The bathroom is small, but sufficient. . The electrical connection is for multiple countries. The rooms receive noise from others and from blows on the windows by the wind, however, it does not prevent from sleeping at night. The breakfast is abundant and varied and is offered on the top floor, achieving a great view of the city. The SPA is very spacious, with a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a small Jacuzzi, sauna, gym and even a running track. Very complete, with offers of massages and hairdressing.
You can see, yes, a deterioration in the walls and taps. It has a fast internet, but it often gets cut off or slowed down. The concierge, who is in charge of attending to the needs of the passengers, was very rude when we asked him where we could take a taxi; he did not look at us, nor did he pretend to listen to us. He was talking to a friend (not a passenger) and shopping online (mercadolibre.com). I made a complaint.

I was on the 22nd floor and views were very impressive. good, clean room, big TV. Good breakfast on the top floor (25) with more fantastic views. good location to get to know the old city and walk around the rambla (however, night has come it doesn't seem very safe around the hotel, during the day it's fine). good casino and a good swimming pool.
I thought the free drink on arrival was ridiculous and pathetic. I went to the bar to order a beer and waitress told me in a very rude tone that the greeting drink can't be a beer, it has to be something else (spumante, if I remember correctly). gave a very bad impression of the hotel as soon as I arrived. In general the idea of a greeting drink seems to me very good, it has to be organized in a cozy way, offering all kinds of normal drinks (spumante, beer etc. Not that I asked for a 30-year-old whiskey or champagne... As you can read in other comments, bathrooms will need a renovation in the next few years. as far as the price-quality ratio is concerned, it is nothing that can really be criticized (for a similar room in Paris or London, for example, you would pay 5 times the price of a room in this hotel).

Our large room had a TV, mini-fridge, and coffee/tea amenities, the breakfast was pleasant, and the location is fantastic.

I traveled to the city so that I could combine rest and work. I was able to finish my task in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, enjoying excellent attention and services. While I was tasting delicious ice creams, I took the opportunity to walk around the city and even though the hotel was full, the staff and services were very well attended. The breakfast is of very good quality and in a pleasant place for the view that offers. The swimming pool is always clean and with good space to enjoy it. So far I have not used the Casino, who knows, try your luck on the next trip. The rooms are very spacious and quiet, with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. I recommend it and in my case I will return.....I hope soon!

renovated 25th floor is a pleasure, on clear days you can see the whole city and enhancement they have done has been great. swimming pool as always stands out for its size and quality; to this the jacuzzi that offers another warmer option. staff there is excellent. kids club, with a not very clear schedule in low season, is excellent and person in charge is very pre-disposed and attentive with the little ones. rooms are classic but always comfortable and in the style of the 90's well preserved.
The breakfast service is correct, it knew how to shine more in other times with different spread and dry cheeses. More variety of fruits and vegetables is missing for those of us who cannot consume gluten or simply want to take care of ourselves. The restaurant downstairs is very expensive and does not offer very fresh products. It is worth going out to look for other proposals in the surroundings.

view of the port and bay from the room (from the 17th floor, spectacular!! the comfort of the room (an extra point for the 50" SMART TV and comfortable armchair for reading with your own laptop). swimming pool, infrastructure and cordiality of the staff. Having breakfast with the view from the 25th floor is a beautiful experience. You can tell at all times that it is a high level hotel. exquisite dinner at the Lobby restaurant (highly recommended) and excellent assistance provided by the waiter were a highlight during the stay.
Nothing is perfect, but for the level of the Hotel, there are some small details that do not allow you to leave with a feeling of absolute completeness. The first one is the parking, which is not only paid (really a hotel of this quality should include this item free of charge), but they also make you take the car to the parking lot that is 2 blocks away from the entrance to the Lobby (or pay double for a valet parking). Unspeakable really. Another detail is the quality of the breakfast, which although it is abundant in options, could be improved, whoever tries it will understand my comment better. It's good, but it could improve to be fantastic, because with that view, it's quite an experience. In the bathroom my wife could not find a bathing cap, obviously this is an item that can be requested at the reception, but nowadays, it seems obvious to me that it must be from the entrance.
